Mt Coramba Down Hill

One of Australia’s most renowned and long-standing downhill trails, Mt Coramba Down Hill is surrounded by the beauty of the Coffs Harbour forested areas with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea.

The trail has a rich history and is known for its amazing build quality and attention to detail. Mt Coramba Down Hill is a pure downhill trail built and managed purely for the advanced gravity rider by Dozer’s team at Coffs Downhill. Dozer’s team have twenty-five years of experience racing, constructing, and maintaining the finest quality of trails. The exciting trail contains an abundance of features including smooth jumps, exciting drops, fun fast sections, and challenging natural obstacles planned and built around the natural shapes of our beautiful forest. The venue has played host to some record-breaking major events over the years thanks to Coffs Downhill with exciting future events to be staged in conjunction with Clarence Valley Mountain Bike Club. The vast experience of the two parties ensures a great future for downhill mountain biking in our area for a long time to come.

The trail starts at one of two towers on top of Mt Coramba. The typical trailhead starts at the lower tower with a more advanced and extremely difficult section from the top tower. The trail is just over two kilometers long bearing east towards the sea and is entirely gravity fed. The trail contains many firm bermed sections, a lot of gap jumps, advanced drops and technical sections to be ridden only by experienced and advanced riders. Some sections have an alternate line to avoid the difficult obstacles but are still intermediate level. The trail ends with some jumps built to thrill the rider and the people visiting to spectate in an open area designed to exhibit the exciting sport. Spectators are encouraged to come along and watch any of our events that can be found at www.facebook.com/coffs.downhill. Please respect the tireless effort of the trail crew and never modify any feature of the exciting trail. Get in touch with Coffs Downhill and join in one of the advertised maintenance days and meet some of the friendly folks who put in a big effort to bring such joy to a large group of visitors.

Access to the trail is on a weathered dirt road. 4WD access is recommended and caution is advised if using a 2WD vehicle. Please be mindful of other road users. Getting There: From Coffs Harbour travel north. Take the exit into Bruxner Park road and follow the same road through scenic forests until you get to Mt Coramba road on the left.
