On this page, you will find information useful for those exploring the Coffs Coast by RV and caravan, especially those who have self-contained vehicles. Read on for details about RV dump points, long vehicle parking in Coffs CBD and freedom/primitive campsites in the region.
RV DUMP POINTS
Ok… so everyone’s talking about it but no one wants to do it. It’s time to empty the canister!
While most holiday parks on Coffs Coast have RV dump points for their registered guests, there are a number of FREE dump sites for those just ‘passing through’.
- Phil Hawthorne Drive, Coffs Harbour (next to C.ex Coffs International Stadium)
- Arrawarra Rest Area, Arrawarra Beach Road, Arrawarra
- Bellingen Blackwater Dump Point, 5 Black Street, Bellingen
- Dorrigo Blackwater Dump Point, Waterfall Way, Dorrigo
- Urunga Blackwater Dump Point, 77 Morgo Street, Urunga
- Coffs Harbour CBD (alongside Pacific Highway at Greyhound Bus Depot)
The following holiday parks are listed on Sandidumps as locations for Registered Guests.
FREEDOM / PRIMITIVE CAMPING
On the Coffs Coast there are a number of places to stopover for a night or two in your own self-contained vehicle or tent. The Coffs Coast has 2 designated free camping spots for RVs in Elizabeth Street near the Greyhound Bus Stop or budget or primitive camping options can be found here.
COFFS HARBOUR CBD PARKING
There are a number of streets surrounding Coffs City Centre with parallel parking spaces suitable for longer vehicles. Most of these are 5 to 8 minutes walk from the CBD and major supermarkets, cafes and retail shopping.
Below is a map with suggested parking areas to access CBD shops – while not guaranteed, you can generally find a space, and there are areas others available on the periphery of the city. Ensure you follow the parking and road signage in place.
Please note: Not all streets have footpaths, but all have verges for pedestrian access.
