- Korora, NSW, 2450, Australia National Park Info
For nearly a century, Ulidarra National Park and the adjoining Bruxner Park Flora Reserve were used primarily for logging. As you explore this diverse forest you will come across some massive old stumps which still display wedge cuts from early tree felling methods. As far back as 1933, when environmental awareness was uncommon, the local community recognized the natural beauty and value of this forest, and started lobbying for its protection. In 1958, the Bruxner Park Flora Reserve was established, and 1999, Ulidarra and nearby Bindarri National Park were also protected. Ulidarra National Park can now be peacefully enjoyed by all. It is an excellent location for bird watching, 4WD driving, mountain biking and bushwalking. Enjoy a picnic beside the pristine waters of Bucca Bucca Creek.
