Korora Bay is a small town located to the North of Coffs Harbour. It is home to a stretch of beaches, from Hills Beach in the north to Charlesworth Bay at the southern end.
Hills beach located at the end of Norman Hill Drive has a lovely picnic area with a kid’s playground shaded by trees, picnic shelters, tables, and bbq facilities.
Korora beach which is accessible from the Hills beach carpark is a straight 650m long beach located in the small Korora bay, popular for early morning and evening walks.
Charlesworth Bay to the south has a relatively protected northeast-facing beach, just 500 m in length. The Bay is protected from the south by 40 m high Diggers Head with smaller Fowlers Head to the north. This secluded bay and its backing valley are now largely occupied by Pacific Bay Resort however still enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. All Korora Bay beaches are unpatrolled.
