Primitive Camping

On the Coffs Coast there are a number of places to stopover for a night or two in your own self-contained vehicle or tent.

Self-contained recreational vehicles are vehicles that are specifically built for purpose that along with built in sink, on-board cooking and sleeping facilities, carry a supply of fresh water and can retain all grey and black waste water.  Most holiday parks on Coffs Coast have RV dump points for their registered guests, but there are a number of FREE dump sites for those just ‘passing through’.

The Coffs Coast beaches are fantastic places to enjoy a swim, a walk, a view or a day.  Beach carparks however, are not for overnight stays, so if it’s a beach stopover you want, there are a myriad of holiday parks, resorts and accommodation along the 60km coastline of the Coffs Coast.  Rangers regularly patrol beaches and associated parking areas and we’d hate to see your holiday spoiled by being moved on or fined.  Whilst the Coffs Coast has no designated free camping spots, budget or primitive camping options include:
