Woolgoolga is a seaside village in the northern beaches area of the Coffs Coast and only 25kms north of Coffs Harbour. The town offers several beaches that are ideal for surfing, fishing and snorkeling. Woolgoolga is home to the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple and the famous Curryfest event on in September every year. The Woolgoolga Curryfest is a colourful street party that celebrates culture, diversity, and community with amazing food, music and dancing.
Known to the locals as ‘Woopi’ the area offers plenty of natural beauty including Sherwood Nature Reserve and Woolgoolga Creek Picnic area. The coastal areas have some great vantage spots for whale watching from the Woolgoolga Headland with stunning views of the Solitary Islands.
