The quickest and easiest way to get to the Coffs Coast is via air and the Coffs Harbour Airport offers direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne with three airlines.
Sydney & Brisbane are a quick one-hour flight and Melbourne is only two-hours flight time.

Who doesn’t love a road trip? An easy drive along the Pacific Highway, sometimes referred to as the Legendary Pacific Coast, is the best way to appreciate how close the Coffs Coast is to Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Take the Pacific Highway north from Sydney, and in under six hours (550km), you will be in the green rolling hills of the Orara Valley hinterland and the blue waters of the Solitary Island Marine Park.

Heading south from Brisbane (four hours & 427km) and the Gold Coast (three hours & 311km) along the Pacific Highway 

Sit back, relax, and watch the scenery pass you by on a coastal route on NSW TrainLink. Two services run daily to the Coffs Coast from Sydney and Brisbane and they stop at Coffs Harbour railway station, located at the Jetty Foreshores.

If you prefer someone else behind the wheel while you relax in the seat, two coach companies can deliver you to the Coffs Coast from north and south 7 dasy a week.

Both Greyhound Australia and Premier Motor Service offer air-conditioned coaches with on-board restrooms and panoramic windows to make the most of the scenery.

Is sailing is more your style? The Coffs Harbour International Marina, located in the popular Jetty precinct, is one of only six marinas in NSW offering international customs clearance. This marina provides customs services, berthing options, and essential support facilities

Once you’ve arrived on the Coffs Coast, you’ll notice how close everything is, so it’s easy to get where you’re going.
Coffs is a great place to walk or cycle around, and its a quick drive to the northern and southern beaches and towns or west to see beautiful bush, farmland and rural villages.

Coffs CBD east to Jetty – 3km or 6 min

Parking in Coffs Harbour is free except for at the Airport and the Hospital. There are a number of all day parking areas available in the City Centre. Find suggestions for long vehicle parking in the CBD here.

Walking Paths
Walking in and around the Coffs Coast is easy to do with a variety of walking paths and trails to suit those getting to and from a destination or those wanting a leisurely stroll amongst the beautiful nature of the area.

Cycling
There are many cycling paths around Coffs Harbour. Riding a bike is an effective, healthy and environmentally friendly form of transport making it popular in Coffs Harbour.  Cycling can be done around the city, on coastal routes, through national parks, state forests and hinterlands, to or from work or as a leisure activity.  Details and maps of popular cycle and mountain biking routes are available here.
