Internationally-renowned concert pianist, Roman Rudnytsky, returns to Australia and will perform a magical repertoire of pieces designed to relax, engage and enthrall the audience. He has played throughout the country- from the Sydney Opera House to many country and outback towns.
Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background and a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York. He has played concerts across the World in more than 100 countries and is a prize winner in ten International and National piano competitions, including 2nd Prize in the International Leventritt Competition in New York, Roman has also been a soloist with many orchestras around the world, played countless concerts and conducted master classes for thousands.
Featured in his Coffs Harbour program will be his own transcription for solo piano of Mozart’s popular Concerto in C, K.467 for piano and orchestra, the rousing piece “Jackaroo” by Australian composer Neil Goodchild, and works by Beethoven, Ravel, Liszt, and others.
