Listen, learn and explore this beautiful national park with Aboriginal Ranger Matthew Flanders. This guided tour will incorporate the cultural connection to Bongil Bongil National Park, learning about local bushtucker, medicine and sharing stories that connect the Gumbaynggirr people through totemism and ways their people managed the land.
As we go, be ready to capture photos’ of local wildlife and become a citizen scientist. You can help map our regions biodiversity by taking photos of local birds, bugs and animals. If we’re lucky, we might evens spot a local koala sleeping in the treetops or munching on leaves as the surrounding eucalypt forests are home to one of NSW’s largest koala populations.
