Clarence Valley Orchestra: 80th Anniversary ANZAC Charity Concert

  • $39.90

The ‘Allies of War’ performance coincides with 80 years since the end of Australia’s involvement in WWII. The concert will include a tribute to the entertainers and radio legends of the ‘Concert Parties’ who performed during WWII and also songs from WWI, in the effort of boosting the troops’ morale. A variety of music will be heard, from WW2 sing-along medleys to the songs of Vera Lyn and Marlene Dietrich, to the Big Band sounds of Glen Miller and the Andrews Sisters. Guest artists include international recording vocalist Maggie Britton along with Coffs Coast Pipes & Drums and much more!

Performed by the Clarence Valley Orchestra & Chorus, conducted by Artistic Director Dr Greg Butcher, the concert is one not to be missed, and is a ‘Salute to all Australians who have served in the Defence Force’. This concert is supported by the Woolgoolga RSL sub-Branch Members.
