The rural community of Bonville lies just south of Coffs Harbour. Travelling from South or North take the Bonville exit off the Pacific Highway and continue through the roundabout to the town. It is best known for the famous Bonville International Golf Resort and the iconic Butterfly House on Strouds Road.

An amazing web of trails for mountain bikers, Pine Creek State Forest is just 20 minutes south of COffs Harbour and offers two main areas called ‘Cows with Guns’ (14 km of trails) and ‘The Sawmill’ (black diamond signposted trails) which are separated by Pine Creek.

Look out also for the great riding opportunities on gravel roads in the adjoining Bongil Bongil National Park.

Wander through the diverse landscapes of Bongil Bongil National Park, a popular spot for picnics offering great BBQ facilities and a mix of scenes. From Eucalypt forests, housing the states largest population of Koalas to Bonville Creek pontoons for fishing and long stretches of sand close by Bundagen Head and habitats that migrating birds call home, at different seasons through out the year.

National Parks and Wildlife Service also offer guided tours including of Bonville Creek by canoe or join a bushtucker tasting tour with an Indigenous Elder ranger.
