Surf MuseumIn a vibrant and varied community like ours, you'd expect to find a range of galleries highlighting our art & craft.

The versatile work of local artists and artisans in wood, metal, glass, ceramics and paint is on display at galleries across the region - while our folk museums chronicle the past through their exhibits of artefacts and photography.

The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is located in a restored WW2 underground bunker. Now a funky uptempo gallery featuring changing exhibitions of Australian and international cartoons.

The Coffs Harbour Regional Museum features a large collection of existing and new items of historical significance from the Coffs Harbour region, as well as temporary and travelling exhibitions. It reopened to the public in January 2007 after an extensive refurbishment.

Please note, as a result of flood damage to the main museum early in 2009, the museum is currently operating from a temporary facility. If you would like to visit the museum and experience its wonderful collection, please feel welcome to make an appointment by phoning the museum co-ordinator, Terri Beckhouse, on 6651 5239. The museum is temporarily located at the Palms Shopping Centre in the Coffs Harbour CBD when space is available, and at North Boambee.
